Since watching snippets of "The September Issue", I've been mesmerized by the story telling and the effort put behind each editorial spread. Still on that buzz, I'm starting to delve into one of the illusive industries yet - those of fashion stylists and editors, also refered to as "Style Interpretors". Delving into that world for almost 2 hours showed me exactly how infinitely layered the fashion industry truly is, which lead me to the discovery of "Stylist: The Interpretors of Fashion".This offering comes from the editors of Style.com lists the top tastemenakers and style mavens in the fashion world including: Grace Coddington, Carine Roitfeld, Tonne Goodman and Edward Enninful amongst others. These interpretors of fashion offer the veneer from which they believe fashion should be absorbed. These mavens are relied upon by designers, celebrities, photographers and editors making their influence on global aesthetic reach epic proportions. This book documents the impeccable taste, individual flair, insirations etc of each stylist they profile, creating a sepcific personal aestheitc through their styling, adding to their creative repertoire. Ultimately, "Stylist: The Interpretors of Fashion" offers creates a dialogue on the inside world of creative inspiation, the fine art of fashion pronouncement and what it means to be on the cutting edge of fashion.
