You know that playlist or that song that reminds you of a time when you were the happiest? and you don’t hear it for ages and then all of a sudden you hear it by accident and all those feelings come flooding back as if they happened yesterday and it puts everything into perspective again? Its almost serendipitous, like you’ve waited your entire life to find a cause, when in actuality you found it all those years ago. It’s almost like the cause wanted to find you this time round. It’s a lot like lost love isn't it? If I had a song that epitomized that for me, it would be this one. Nina Simone represents my hopeful youth resurrected after years of decay and dust that clouded that foresight. "No more doubt, no more fear. I found my way."
